Do I have to revisit the USA to keep my Social Security and Medicare?

Hi Everyone, I have not posted here in several years. I'm glad to be back, as I am researching moving to Mexico. I'm doing my research now, in case I want to move after the Presidential Election in 2024 in the USA.

I know a little bit of Spanish, and will start studying Spanish again soon.

I am 81 years of age, and use a cane; but by time I would move, I would probably use a walker. I do not have a car or drive. So would want to live in a small town where I can walk most places, and where a walker would roll well.

If I move to Mexico, do I have to regularly return for __________ days to the USA in order to keep my Medicare and Social Security?

I have several medical problems that are well managed by my health care teams here in the USA. Is it hard to get medical care in Mexico in a small town?

Also, I would want to bring my PC computer and printers, and wonder if there is a way to talk free over the computer to my friends and relatives in the USA?

Thanks to anyone who cares to answer some of my questions.

I admire all of you for being expate! You are very wise and brave.

Marian
