Moving to Rabat for 3 months

Hi,
I am getting ready to move from the US to Rabat for a short time and I am looking for any advice/information from other expats about Morocco. I have never visited the country so I would greatly appreciate insight or suggestions about the area. I am an artist and I will be living with a host family and working on painting and drawing during my stay. I would really love to meet some English speakers while I am there because my French is not great and I do not know any Arabic yet.
