When being a Tourist is better than a Resident!

You have to be a resident to own a Moroccan vehicle... but that's about the only benefit to being a resident. For the same money for buying a piece of local scrap you could bring in a much better mode of transport; only you'll need to take it out of Maroc every six months. Changing the ownership details gets it back in straight away for another six, and so on. You'll also be able to tow with it too, like a caravan, which you can't with a Maroc vehicle. Also, a resident needs to get a Maroc Driving Licence after 1 year. I think Morocco has a long way to go in learning what tourists really need. A tourist can also buy a house.
