Hello, I’m Canadian and retired. I bought a place in Portugal and got the deed in Jan 2024. Would I still be able to apply under the old regime since I started the whole process of purchase with intention to live in Portugal before the change? Also, can I apply and defer the switch?
Is there a specialist for Canadians as there are some new laws in Canada as well and I still have my home in Canada. Thank you
