Middled aged and want to repatriate

I've been living abroad for 20 years and want to repatriate. I am 57 and don't have a college degree, but have had steady work as a secretary.

I have been looking for a long time -
the closest I ever get to an interview is "Contact us when you've moved back". Seemingly SKYPE interviews are only done in certain situations. I have no family left in the U.S. so I'd be moving back solo.
