Austin or Dallas

I have been offered the opportunity to move to Austin or Dallas for a few years with work but I can’t decide which one. I have been to Austin and loved the scenery and lake travis, but Dallas seems to have loads of culture (art/opera/museums) to offer. Dallas also sounds like it’s more stereotypically Texan and Austin sounds more hipster (which I get enough of in London).

Could anyone help give me some insights into both cities?
