Pet Transport

I'm going to England for a three-month visit and need to take my cat with me. Does anyone have recommendations on how to go about this and, if you've used a pet transport company, what your experience was. I've done quite a bit of research, but, of course, I'm concerned about the welfare of my kitty and my ability to manage his carrier and all my luggage going into and out of the airport. All help is much appreciated!
