I read the article on how it's impossible to retire to New Zealand and I'm sure it's mostly accurate.
But here are some qestions. Is it true that if you get a six month visa, you lose it if you leave the country?
How long can you stay visa free if you are a U.S. citizen?
Is it not pssible to leave for a long weekend in Australia and re-enter with a new entry permit.
Is it not possible to set up a business in Australia or elsewhere and do most of your business development in New Zealand as a viable reason for moving back and forth?
Can non-residents buy property in N.Z?
Are there opportunities to register as a sales or consulting representative for a N.Z. Company and move back and forth easily even if you are a permanent resident somewhere else like Australia, Fiji, Hong Kong or the U.S for that matter?
Whyat kind of reciprocal residency arrangements does N.Z. have with it's protectorates in the South Pacific like the Cook Islands.
What, if any, are some other strategies for spending time N.Z. as a non-resident alien.?
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
