Residence Question

I am a kiwi, married to a Leicester lady with 4 kids. It may be a long shot, but I am hoping to find a couple like us ie a kiwi and a um er pom, who have moved back to NZ. We wish to do this shortly and although I've pretty much got everything sorted I want to know how we are likely to get on with immigration being that I am a citizen (dual shortly) and she is from the UK. Is she still required to have points? Does the fact that she is my wife mean that she gets in relatively easily? How do things work for 'her' children? My entire family is there but which Visa category should we be applying under???????
Any help is much appreciated.
Cheers
