Help! American girls in Auckland?

Hi, Im a 26 year old Amrican who is getting married to a Kiwi guy in January. I moved with him here a few months ago after teaching English in Korea. We're just starting out and I'm unemployed at the moment and temporarily living with his family -- which I am not used too! I feel quite pathetic. I havent had any American friends since I left home over a year ago and I am seriously lonely! I find most Kiwis on the cold side and taken aback by my outgoing nature.
