de facto partnership visas

Hello All!

I am a US citizen and I recently applied for permanent residence in NZ. My partner (same-sex) is a kiwi and we are moving from the U.S. to Dunedin for her job. I applied as her de facto partner.

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with these types of visas - success, how long, etc.??
