is it worth it?

me and the wife have been looking at moving to nz for a few months now ,but as we look at it closer we wonder just how low is in the incom over there.we dont need alot its the life style change that we want more ,however you need the tokens .ive been in contact with a few companys in my field of work{truck driver}and been told that i could earn around $50k ayear,the problem is ,is that good enough to live on or would the wife have to get a job as we have a 1yr old child .thanks for your time and i hope u can help us out.
