Actually I don't know this site before I just came to know about it yesterday only when I was surfing on the web site trying to find Skills New Zealand Limited where they are now I was thinking that maybe they have changed their web site or closed down their office totally, it so happened that I found this Moving, Living & Working in New Zealand: ExpatExchange.com (Discussion and Forum) and I was surprised to see one of their member's message regarding Skills New Zealand limited. I have gone thru it and read his story how Skills NZ dealt with him it was exactly the same experienced I have now with them and the big problem is that I could not find them where they are now, you know I'm one of the applicants who seek for a Job and dreamed to move to NZ with my family through Skills New Zealand Limited.
Like Paul Jose's story exactly the same situation I had from them, I also engaged with them with an initial payment of USD297 to become an Associate Member on November 11, 2006 to NewJobz/ Stu Macann & Associates Limited / Skills NZ, and then after that since our communication was exciting and everything seems to be fine as they working on my application then followed by signing a contract in which I have paid the amount of NZD2,497 equivalent to 6633.67 Saudi Riyals on December 18, 2006 by Visa Credit Card and it has been Credited to Skills New Zealand Ltd., they have acknowledge my payment and I was being congratulated that I have reached the Gold Membership level or Fast Track membership. In the contract it says if they could not find me a job within 180 days they will refund the money with 100% money pay back guarantee, with an option that I can use it for Immigration purposes if I don't want to refund it. In that case I have been very confident and fully trust them about their conditions. Then they had given me a reference number 73142 as my Customer Number telling me that I have to mention this number in all my communication to them.
But days have gone so fast and I started to worry about them because since I paid them no one has call for my interview and even the number of communication was also reduced. You know my worries started when they changed their company name when NewJobz sold their trade name to Skills New Zealand Limited on November 21, 2006. They made a big changes and developed new web site, they asked me to update my profile to their new web site, and I did it, but nothing has happened, then later as they are continuously updating their system I wonder why they are asking me again to register as a new member wherein it requires me to pay again so as to start the process despite of the fact that I'm already an existing member and already having a customer number, when I started reminding them all about my payment which I have made earlier to Newjobs and Skills New Zealand they said to me in their last email on August 2007 whatever I have paid to Newjobz is not their business as Skills NZ has no more business with Newjobz, I felt so offset with their response to me, but what was happened with the NZD2,497.00 I paid to Skills New Zealand limited for almost one year now, I haven't received any reply from them until this time. I don't know where they are, I tried calling them with their fax & telephone line in Christchurch but unfortunately computer auto message replied that the number you are dialing either disconnected or changed please call international directory. I don't know about their international directory. Until this time I don't know what happend with Skills New Zealand Ltd. I'm really sad about what was happening to my application, I don't think I can get my money back from Skills NZ, being an ordinary employee here in Saudi Arabia this amount of NZD2497 that Skills NZ owes from me is a big amount for me. I cant imagine how they did this to me.
I have tried to send them an email many times but all those messages returned to me, now I have no more access to their web site, no contact and no communication at all. If anyone knows their contact or new web site please let me know so that I can able contact them.
