Cell phone service and ISP

I'm moving the Christchurch the first week of August and need to figure out my cell phone and internet service. It seems like cell and internet are bundled (so I'm assuming internet is only broadband)? I don't really understand how it all works, so I could use some insights.

Also, which cell/internet service providers do you like best? (For my usage, I want the fastest speeds I can get, and I also use my internet access extensively, so I'm worried about the "bundled" approach.)

On another front, can I forward from a US cell number (AT&T) to my NZ number? If yes, then how am I billed if I receive a call from someone? I ask because I have a small business, and I'm not sure if it's better to establish and provide an 800 number or just forward through my US number.

Thank you! Any and all help is much appreciated!
