Hi everyone! We are currently planning to move to Oslo or the surrounding areas. My oldest son who is 7 has ASD - it’s mild but he does receive services through the schools here in the USA. He has a paraprofessional in the class with him and gets speech therapy three times a week as well as occupational therapy once a week and a social skills group. He definitely does not need any special program but does need some support within the classroom. This is my nr. 1 concern with moving. I have no idea what I can expect from the school system in Norway - especially in regard to special education. If anyone has some personal experience or knows who I could contact it would be much appreciated - thanks!
