Oman degree process and visa

Greetings,

I've signed a contract and now waiting for a visa as a lecturer in a college/university in Nizwa. I've had my degrees attested and notarized by the countries from which they were earned. I may not have time to have them cleared by the Oman embassy in my country by the beginning of the school semester. Could I still leave for Oman and have the process completed afterwards? Thank you.
