Living in Karachi since 1985 originally from Manchester UK

My name is Susan Ahmad and I have been living in Karachi for the last twenty years.In the beginning I have to admit it was quite difficult,but luckily for me my husbands family live in Defence and are all educated so that makes a big difference.My advice to anyone is to maintain your own identity without being aggressive.I sometimes wear shalvar kameez but on the whole I wear pants and tops (not too revealing) and this is accepted by all the family.Now I am the one advising people where to shop etc!!!!I enjoy living here now and as long as I can go out once or twice a year I am fine.I would love to correspond with like minded people.So please get in touch.Best wishes Susan
