Hi everyone. We are a family of four planning a trip this summer back to my wife's home country of Pakistan for me and our children to finally meet their family.
This is a huge thing for us and I am hopeful that, with your help, we can not only see the family but also get up north to experience the beauty of Pakistan. We are visiting Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad over three weeks in country and I can't wait to get to know the country that gave birth to my wonderful wife. Truly this is a voyage of love, on so many levels.
Being a white American male, I am more than a little nervous about this trip but frankly, I don't care. I find that if you just smile and wave at the majority of people, the world will open to you. I am optimistic. One of my goals is, through social media, show the world that Pakistan is a safe and beautiful country and hopefully get rid of the negative stereotypes that surround the people.
So, anything you can throw into the till would be greatly appreciated. I am putting together a facebook page of our travels and will probably start a blog to cover this journey. I will be adding these links to my gofundme page as I develop the copy and images.
