questions about moving and working in Panama w/family

Hello everyone,

To give a little background on myself, I am 31 and I am a Medical Lab Tech in the US Navy. My enlistment is over in less than 2 years. As a possible option, I am considering moving outside of the US a few years after I get out of the military when I get my Masters Degree in Healthcare Management. I will not be receiving any retirements or government benefits other than my GI bill for school. I can earn a fair living as a Lab Tech and the potential to earn 6 figures with my Master's Degree is on the horizon. I am married (my wife is from Cuba) and we have 2 young children (twins about 2 years old).

My question is mainly about earning a living abroad. If I wanted to move abroad and get a job in the medical field, what is the best way to plan this? I would be able to save up money before moving to keep us afloat for the first year or so until we get stabilized, but I would like to know how to do job searches ahead of time. Should I move by myself for a few months to get everything settled before I bring the family? Also, what is the healthcare field in Panama looking like? Are there other Central American countries with better healthcare systems that it might be easier to get a job with?

Any other advise on moving abroad would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thank you all
