REPUBLIC OF PANAMA - NATIONAL GOVERNMENT.

The decisions taken are based on evidence and on the balance of economic, social and health aspects, applying the process of observation, analysis and decision.

"CONSIDERATIONS".

• When the health checkpoints in Panama and Panama Oeste were lifted, the mobilization to other provinces produced infections where there were none or were very low.

• The wide mobilization on National Holidays and Mother's Day caused the contagion curve to rise and they are generating the high number that we see today.

• Meetings and parties, which are still prohibited, have had a high impact on the number of infections.

• We are in phase 4 of contagion according to the WHO, which represents community transmission with accelerated transmission phase.

• RT has already passed its limit and the other indicators established for decision-making are close to reaching the maximum level indicated: lethality, availability of beds in wards, availability of beds in intensive care.
