Boquete is Back in Black Again

This weekend was pretty amazing here in Boquete. Looks like we are back again to almost normal. We still have that 9 pm curfew and masks but that was not a big deal this weekend. With a late curfew, all the Boquete folks were out in full force downtown at the hotels and bars and restaurants. It was crazy on the streets with cars. Tapout had a Saturday Night all you could eat ribs and NFL football night. The Posada had some football as well on a monster screen from floor to ceiling, as well as movies and news and other entertainment. Sunday night we hit the town and the Pizza and Wings at the Posada were amazing and so was the service. All lady servers now and very efficient. Past service has not been this good in Panama. They were on their toes and flying. What a wonderful weekend. The Brewery was packed as were all the restaurants downtown. We lost a few restaurants during the 9 month shutdown but we gained a bunch more and a great local store from Colombia came to town. So many new places have opened up. We are back in black here in Boquete so we hope you can join the party soon. This was supposed to be our big week with the Flower and Coffee Festival that had to be cancelled, but the top tourist town in Panama did not disappoint this weekend. Lots of out of towners. One of our apartments came available this weekend when renters found a huge house to rent, so if you are coming to town soon, email me at [email protected] and we will save your spot. Currently our renters are single retired professional ladies or couples. Lots of folks have wanted it for July and such but first come, first served and available now. Cheers. and hope to see y'all soon. We'll leave the lights on for you.
