Hi there everyone
I have just come back to the UK after 2 months in Paraguay and am looking into ways of returning to live and work in Asuncion.
I have qualified as an English teacher and have been offered a position in the leading school in Asuncion if I return but am interested to know about possible longer term work prospects.
As an English teacher, it gives me the opportunity to work there and learn Spanish but I have other work experience that I hope could lead to a better paid job.
I am qualified as a geologist and, although I don't have oil or minerals exploration experience, I have experience as a manager in the construction industry (cleaning and restoring buildings) as well as establishing a company in the industry, so I could do administration. I have very good skills as a writer and photographer too.
I was trying to find out about oil and mineral exploration companies when I was there but time ran out.
I would be interested to know if anyone out there in Paraguay might have any advice, ideas or suggestions.
Thanks in anticipation.
Scott Engering
