Will start the trip towards Mancora and beyond, next week.
Yes i have been to Peru before and been through Mancora as well, but never this time of year. I always did my travel in the winter rather than summer.
So i hear it is tourist season now, according to my contacts in Trujillo area. I am coming by road from Ecuador and plan to stop in Mancora for a few days or not.
All depends on the scene there.
Not my kind of place if overrun with young people who just won't quit until the break of dawn this time of year, amid the usual practice of blasting the dance music all night like it were an Arabic country's Islamic call to prayer.
Just curious what to expect. Here in Ecuador, i am in a small town in the hills, so i have no way to know what is going on at the beach fronts now. And Mancora is such a small yet popular town that i am more concerned about how it is during this time of year. It seems to have more potential to be overrun than other places.
