I am an Expat living in Colombia.
I used to go to Peru a lot ending about 12 years ago (shortly after I discovered Colombia..ja ja)
I have been to Cuzco and Machu Pichu in 2000, combined wíth a trip to Bolivia.
I am sure it has changed a lot over the years.
I have purchased airline tickets for me and my.novia to go to Cuzco in early October . We Will be there for 3 nights and 4 full days.
The question is , is it better to.purchase a complete package online, including the train to Machu Pichu, Cuzco city tour, and tour of Machi Pichu, meals etc. Or just reserve a hotel and book the rest when we are there?
Do people normally go from Cuzco to Machu Pichu and come back in the same day? I Seem.to remember staying in Aguas Calientes.
I imagine the train books up quite quickly nowadays.
I have an ex in Lima who.is a tourist Agent but her prices seem.quite high.Probably gringo.prices as she is used to selling packages to gringos.JA JA
Saying that, quality and confidence of Service is more important than.price.
If it is better to book ahead in a package is there an agency
people would recommend?
