living and studying

i am finishing college soon and i want to go on to university. What i would like to do is to study in Philipines. Mainly the Makati area. While here i would rent somewhere to stay, nothing to high end and even be willing to get a part time job at somewhere like McDonalds. I would then hopefully like to end the studying and just stay in Philipines.(currently in the UK) I was wondering if any of this is actualy possible to do because of laws and what not. And if it is, what sort of forms would i need to fill in and where would i find them? Any help at all would be grately appreciated.
