I was supposed to move to the Phils Iin August of this year. I have been there many times and have picked where I want to live etc etc. However there has been a problem with the sale of my house so I wont be abel to go for 6 to 8 months. I have been chatting with, dating, and planning to marry a lady from the Philippines that I originally met on line, for about 8 months now. So know What I plan to do is bring her here on a Fiance Visa, get married and then go back to the Phils when the house problems are taken care of. What my problem is, is that I have heard a lot about how it is illegal to meet your future wife on line and that all these cites for meeting a Lady from the Phils with the intention of getting married are illegal. Well now I am not quit sure what to do, I dont want to start my stay in the Phils as a criminal but we are both in love and want to get married.
Does anyone know about these laws or have any suggestions as to what to do so that we can be together LEGALLY???
