I just found this site and have been looking awfully hard at moving to the region, preferably the Phillipines, as I love the food, the culture, and I adore the people for the most part.
I'm a 29 year old who will be working in Saudi, my rotation is 35 days on, 35 days off, my estimated yearly salary will be between 85,000 to 100,000 USD a year.
I estimate that roughly every other month off I'll be visiting my family in the US.
I mention this because I plan on renting a place out there, preferably in Makati but QC would be just fine too.
My question is two-fold;
Does anyone have any recommendations for apartments in that area, preferably closer to the nightlife than not, and what is the VISA requirements nowadays? When I visited I was traveling on a government passport and haven't managed to get back since.
