Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) Offered at the U.S. Embassy in February 2013

THE EMBASSY OF THE UNITED STATES IS TRANSMITTING THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION THROUGH THE EMBASSY WARDEN SYSTEM AS A PUBLIC SERVICE TO AMERICAN CITIZENS IN THE PHILIPPINES. PLEASE DISSEMINATE THIS MESSAGE TO ALL U.S. CITIZENS IN YOUR ORGANIZATION OR NEIGHBORHOOD.
The U.S. Embassy will offer the Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the U.S. Embassy - Seafront Compound Public Affairs Library, also known as the Thomas Jefferson Information Center (TJIC).
Please note: Only pre-registered U.S. citizens are eligible to the FSOT.
The Seafront Compound is located next to the Cuneta Astrodome on Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. There will be two test sessions available: one beginning at 8:30 a.m. or one beginning at 1:00 p.m. Only pre-registered participants will be admitted. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the test.
Those interested in taking the test must register on line, and the deadline for registration is Wednesday, January 22, 2013, 9:00 a.m., US Central Standard Time. For registration instructions, please visit: http://careers.state.gov/officer/selection-process#nogo.
Individuals taking the FSOT must adhere to Embassy security policies regarding access to the Seafront Compound. All visitors must provide two forms of government-issued photo ID, one of which must be your U.S. passport, which will be exchanged for a visitor’s badge. The badge must be visible at all times while on Seafront Compound. U.S. Department of State employees will escort you from the entrance to the test location. Visitors to Seafront Compound must pass metal detector screenings and have their bags checked by x-ray machines.
