Hi guys I have been chatting to my philippina gf for the last 6 months via skype and i visited her 8 weeks ago in cebu. She has a daughter and we both want to marry> However, it all seems to be on her terms. I told her i could up sticks and move to the philippines as i been offered a good redundancy package. She didnt want that option. I then suggested a spousal visa and get married in her country. She didnt want that option. She wanted to marry in the uk. I said she could come on a fiance visa but she couldnt bring her child with her on it.
i told her that the spousal visa and marriage in the uk is the only sensible option. my gut feeling is that there is something not quite right here and she may be seperated. She tells me she is widowed. She did invite me to her home 8 weeks ago but i eventualy decided to meet her in a neutral venue as her city is dangerous. She will not give me a reason why she not want to get married in the philippines apart to say that she has done it before. Any advice, positive answers only please. i do love her and would be upset to lose her but i am wrestling with heart over head dilema.
