bringing the kids over?

I am a 56 year old widower recently having lost my wife to cancer. I have a nice place in the countryside, but would never want to have more of my own kids (been there done that). I am leary of a girl who has never had kids say that that would be ok, believing quite possibly she'd regret it. It has occurred to me that I could date, marry and bring back (to the US) a girl with young kids who we could raise together here. I have not heard of anyone doing this. Most of what I read is that the mother leaves the kids there, then sends money back. I for one would not think this healthy for either the mother or the kids or our marriage. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks
