Moving to Manila

Hi all, we are moving to Manila for work and I need some advice on where to look for accommodation. We have two small children so security and a safe outside area to play is very important. I will be working in Makati and I am hoping my eldest child will go to the British school. Not sure if it is better to live in Makati close to work or Bonifacio close to school. Can anyone recommend any gated communities close to the British school? Not sure if it would be possible to walk to school from any of these communities? What is the commute like between Makati and Bonifacio? Which area is better for preschool age kids in terms of parks, open spaces and things to do? Ideally we would like to be somewhere where we don't have to drive everywhere, not sure if this is realistic? Thanks
