helping an elderly lady move to the Philippines

Hi,
I'm trying to help an elderly lady move to the Philippines. She can afford to live there on her social security, it doesn't stretch very far here. I could sure use some help with this. She's fairly sharp but she is in her 70s and I'd hate or her to go and not know anyone.

She'd be starting in Manila and then find a permanent place to move. Is there some ex pat community I could tap into? Someone who might be willing to meet her and help her get orientated? She's a Buddhist Nun and very charming; she'd be no trouble, she's been taking care of herself for a long time.

Any advice would be appreciated.
