I am married to my Filippino Wife and we have a 1 year old child. Thinking ahead a few years I would like to retire to Cebu and buy a subdivision. I am aware the rules on foreigners owning property are tight. As such, if I get the property in my Wife's name: can I have a lawer on the case to ensure that she can't sell the property without my permission? I intend leaving the property to our kid anyway, but I want place to live whilst there!
