magic jack in the Phil

Curious if magic jack really works as advertised. Can I call from the Phil to the U.S. for free? What about having a U.S. number registered to magic jack then U.S. friends and family can call me in the Phil for free? do the people that I call in the States have to have magic jack also?When I plug magic jack in the house in the Phil will I still be able to receive calls from the local Philipinos as well? Any experiences you'd like to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
