Condo management in Cebu

My.wife has been wanting to buy property in the Philippines. I advised her that I would settle on a condo in Cebu. My question is if we buy a condo in Cebu are there reliable property managers who can be trusted to rent out the condo. Also do mangement companies do short term rentals so we can still use the property once or twice a year. My wife figures if we purchase now it will be paid off by the time we retire. Is this a good idea or not.
