Effects of Renouncing Philippine Citizenship?

Hello Everyone! I have a question, My Philippina wife will be adjusting status (LPR) soon in the USA. She would like to become a USA citizen in the future. I am all for it and wonder what might change when she renounces her Philippine citizenship. We would like to retire to Leyte in about 5 years and she can naturalize in 3 years. I have heard she will be restricted on land purchases and other issues as she will considered a second class Philippine citizen if she asks to reinstate her Philippine citizenship. Should she wait to naturalize until she has purchased our land? What are your thoughts? Cheers all!
