Claiming SSS

Hello too all.First time posting but long time reader of this forum.My wife has recently died and the family has been at me too sign a form which will give them access too funds.As they have limited English skills all i could get was it was a SSS account.Can anyone advise with anymore information as too how i can gain access too any funds that are there.The cost of sending her body back from Australia was very costly so any money I could recoup would be welcome from this utter disaster.Thanking all in advance.
