I think there are many advantages to getting involved with a Filipina who is over 35. One big advantage is hopefully you don't have to deal with young children that still need a lot of your financial support. One big disadvantage is in the Philippines culture envy is very prominent. It's well documented everywhere even by well respected Philippines educators the "crab mentality". There is also embarrassment to family, relatives and jealousy. This also goes for ex husbands and maybe boyfriends. They will not make it easy for their wives to get an annulment or to move on with their lives if it will make her life so much better and not benefit his life. You guys need to understand this and learn to deal with it appropriately. It's not as easy as it sounds.
