Owning land

Ok can we get this straight.
Everything I have read from the government's and other web sites state you CANNOT own land AT ALL. To form a Corporation, just to buy land for yourself is illegal, to buy land in your wife's name and lease it off her is also ilegall. 60/40 split of land ownership does not legally exist. In a business it is a 60/40 split with you the minority shareholder. To owns business 100% your investment should be $200,000 USD and employ minimum of 50 Filipino nationals.
But land ownership forums mere mortals is 100% ZERO.
You might get a lawyer to draw up an agreement to say you own 40% of the land, some will say anything, if money is involved many will say just about anything. I am sure there are some foreigners that have leaders the land off their wife and everything else and so far have got away with it. But will you?
Now if I am totally wrong about these laws. Then please enlighten me with the sites that prove me wrong.
