Changing profile and getting updates for Philippine Forum

I do not know why but i never get updates when there is a posting etc on this forum. I manually check at times but nothing in the inbox. Anyone know why or how to correct. I originally joined Expatexchange about 10 years ago when i lived in China. Living in Philippines now for 9 years . When i post anything i see it says "From China" at the top. Maybe that is why mail does not arrive - Chinese Great Wall. How can you change your profile. It shows no way to change your country. Appreciate assistance. Thanks.
