Filipino Americans

Quick question, my daughter is a Filipino/American citizen who was born in the US, spent her entire life here, and went to the Philippines every few years in the summer. Her mother has gotten the idea for her to save money and go to college in the Philippines. My question is I don’t feel it is safe for her to do this. My daughter looks 100% Filipino but when she opens her mouth the locals will know she is an American. Any thought on this idea.
