Philippine Education

My son just graduated last week from New York University (NYU) regarded as one of the premier Universities in the U.S. Graduation was held at Radio City Music Hall. My son Jason was born in the Philippines. He was educated straight through graduating high school in the Philippines. He did very well on his SAT (2150), right out of high school was accepted in NYU and just graduated 4 years later. If a parent does his/her due diligence it's possible to get well educated and excel even in the Philippines education system. Now if the parent does nothing to assist the child, it doesn't matter what country he is educated in, it would be difficult for him/her to excel anywhere. So for all those people who keep knocking the Philippines Education system, well if your intention is to do nothing as a parent than your child may not get a good education. The internet is available almost everywhere. There really isn't an excuse.
