House Remodel Labor Cost

Howdy All,
Trying to wrap my hands around what I should expect for labor costs on remodeling the house the wife bought. I remember reading that my per day per man cost for carpentry and finishing work should be P500. And that for plumbers and electricians should be a little higher (maybe P700 per day).
Is this accurate? am I high or low? My brother in-law seems to be getting quotes for labor that are quite high. Can some one give me what the current labor rate should be expected?
