Here is just another example of why the Philippines has stayed a 3rd world country and is NOT developing …infact regressing at a frightful rapid pace . The King King mine is but one example ( for which I own a minority stake in) has been delayed at every turn over the last 6 years . We have given money totalling 400,000 ++ dollars ,for school development , aid, medical clinics , medicine, vaccination programs, and hot lunches for elderly and school kids in region... and hospital equipment in the area in hope of being accepted as being responsible, Doctors / dentists paying visits to remote Barangays . We have committed to 1st world practises - complete with International inspectors and will share our power plant out put with communities that down have power . We told some VERY corrupt elected leaders this all has to stop if we can't generate income at some point next year, as out funds do have an end point without profit - they didn't care AND they down care about the 1000's of 20 dollar/hour jobs the mine will produce. Tell me , is the action of a responsible government or a government waiting to be toppled …sadly ? We have done out part. Local family mine our property ( who dump arsenic and Mercury into rivers and destroy environment - BIG TIME ! and give - 55% of gold to lawmakers in the area and manila to take in out of country to the Caymens and Switzerland to deposit . The 1000's fo great paying jobs on hold for a decade . Is there hope or chaos in the future ? Please read below ;
