I am a retired young 72 single male originally from Boston but presently living in San Diego,Ca.I have a nice one bedroom apt in a good senior living building good location.I work a part time job for some extra income but thinking of not working much longer.I am rather bored with my life here.If i were not working any longer i would only have my Social Security as income($1,260)to live on presently.
I have read and studied much of the Philippines for expat living,ect.Seems that i could get by just fine on my Social Security alone there.I have tried expat living in Panama for nearly two years about 3 years ago and didn't really like it there to stay.It is very humid in most places,getting expensive.and no real culture i found.
I hope to take a trip to Philippines later this year,especially Dumagete,and look for a nice one bedroom apts also.If i were to relocate it would most like be until later next year.
Any info and feedbacks from you expats living there would be appreciated.I have the feeling that life in the over there might be much more suitable for me.I even might take up some Scuba Diving again.
