The unthinkable has happened.

On May 27, my wife suddenly died in my arms at age 48 from a stroke. She had no prior symptoms or hypertension.

Friends and family were very supportive and her family considers me a permanent member.

My wife had told family and friends behind my back, that if something should happen, to encourage me to remarry.

She was my best friend and I was her best friend. We both shared the best 6 years of our lives together.

According to the law I have lost my 13a permanent visa. I'll have to go back to a tourist visa, I assume. No way I can come up with $10.000 for a SRRV visa.

The matchmakers are already trying to ply their trade with me. Honestly I'm not interested in the least.

I'm not returning the the US, I just have no desire to be there anymore. I like the Philippines.
