This is my first time visiting, and I have two goals to see the country and enjoy, and to see many places to see where I might want to retire in at the end of next year. I am single, 62, and want to spend $2,500 a month in spending with a upper middle class lifestyle. Here is my tentative itinerary, and would appreciate comments. I'll use Airbnb for 3 day stays or longer, and hotels for shorter. I have not been there, but quite comfortable with travel in developing countries. I need to spend the first 4 nights in Luzon after landing in Manila to get things done. Then fly to Cebu for 4 nights, and then fly to Tacloban for 2 nights, and head south on bus or other transportation and spend one night in Leyte seeing it and Southern Leyte ( I love beaches). And then take the ferry to Suragao City and spend 4 nights exploring Northern Mandano, before I take the ferry to Camiguin Island and spend a 3 nights there before flying back to manila for my last few days or extend my stay on the Island. I know it's a lot of movement, but I want to see much, and hidden spots are cool and I can see the major places later. This gives me 3 days to add at any location including back at Manila before I fly back. Thought's? Thanks.
