What would be the best move when retiring in the RP ? Saying you household budget (Land and house) is $150.000 US dollars.

We don't want the city life, we want the middle of the road. Not to deep in the province just enough to have privacy.

Would you suggest buying existing house with property and renovating, or building a new house, knowing a new house would take a lot time.

Not even sure that's a big enough budget, simple 3bedroom home
with maids 1/4.

Near the Ocean would be nice, or even a view of the ocean.

Anyway just thinking out loud.
