UK cheques but no UK account how do I bank them in Philippines

I have been paid a few thousand uk pounds Sterling in three cheques paid to me due to mis-selling of Payment Protection Insurance. I no longer have a uk bank account. Because I am not resident in the UK I cannot open an account over there. Any ideas how I can deposit these cheques in the Philippines please.
