ACR verses ACR I

Sorry if i am posting this wrong place. Cab anyone tell me the difference between ACR card and a ACR I card?...yesterday went to try and open account here to deposit my SS into. I went to BPI at Ayala mall. They asked for ACR I card.......she said my ACR card would not do. I have been here on and off three years..................I am now married living here full time for a year. but it seems very difficult to get settled. from what i read here it seems it depends which particular bank branch you go to. Anyone knows difference between the two cards.......please let me know Thank you I appreciate your help. Maybe i should add that i am here on 6 month tourist visa.............and when 6 months are up ill get Balikbayan visa
